The Original Disneyland Was Built Under The Supervision of Walt Disney
Disneyland was the first of two theme parks and it was finally opened on the 15th of July, 1955. This theme park is the only one Walt Disney personally supervised and initially, it was the only attraction site on the land where it is situated. The official name was later changed in 1990 to “Disneyland Park” to differentiate it from the expansion that was being done in its surroundings.
